Between yesterday and today 3 articles came out about Soita Mummolle campaign, respectively on Vartti, Kirkko&Kaupunki and Helsinki Times.
Have a look at them, I am sure they are gonna boost the success of next week Soita Mummolle Päivä (I wish Kamppi’s square to be flooded with people). 🙂
By the way, yesterday our knit-guerrilla with hearts took place in the morning: 154 hand knitted hearts were left on 5 trams and 5 metro trains in the morning. The initiative awakened curiosity and participation, a lot of passengers took the hearts with them, came to speak to me and loved the project! It was a lovely experience also for me: direct feedback on the spot is great – especially if it’s positive! – and I am so happy that this campaign is managing to trigger emotions and thoughts in people’s mind.
Yesterday was also the date of our last Street Action: since me and my helper Karolina (thanks for joining anyway!) were freezing for the wind, we left the center early and we didn’t manage to collect too many photos. But the good news is that many among teenagers knew already about the campaign and approached us saying “Here! I want to be portrayed!”. So despite the cold sudden wind, the youth warmed us with their “Siisti!” keyword of appreciation 🙂
I will publish the last portraits later on during the day, stay tuned!

THE SURVEY IS FINALLY CLOSE!
The winner of the Stockmann Gift Card will be announced personally via e-mail later today.
324 people replied to the main survey and I want to thank them for their help! It was amazing how far the survey spread on the internet!
I didn’t get a good panel for the “over 60” survey, so for the moment I won’t publish any result: I will try to get more answers by personal interviews.
I will analize more in details the results and publish them on this blog (analyzing patterns according to age and sex, for example), but for now you can check the general results from the survey section on this blog.
Some reflections coming into your mind reading these data? Please, share them with us! 🙂

… to those who have lost their parents or grandparents, if the survey hurt their feeling: I did not mean to cause inconvenience.
I understand that not everybody have their family still, so I apologize if I was indelicate. I am sincerely trying to do something good.
In a way I thought it would have been even worse to say beforehand that you should answer to the questionnaire only if you still have parents and grandparents… I do not have experience in surveys, since it is the first time I am running one.
Unfortunately, I noticed that since already so many people answered to the survey I cannot modify the questions or I will loose all the results. If anybody has a good suggestion on how to improve the situation, please don’t hesitate to contact me!
